The Hunt

For the game, you must hone your intuition and tighten the strap on your thinking cap. It won’t be simple child’s play. You may strengthen your team bonds while having a blast exploring our institute, completing challenges, and solving puzzles. This action-packed competition is sure to stand out as particularly memorable and will without a doubt turn out to be the most enjoyable and revitalizing one for the competitors. Teams must solve each puzzle piece using
the previous one as a guide. Get ready to solve the puzzles and uncover the prize.

Rules & Regulations: 

  • The decision of the judges will be final, and no arguments will be catered.
  • Please be at the venue on time to avoid the risk of disqualification.
  • You are advised not to interfere in any other team’s hunt for Clues and items.
  •  Anyone seen acting rudely/misbehaving with the Organizers, Faculty or Event Heads will be disqualified from the hunt immediately. Each task will carry different points, depending on the level of difficulty.
  • Each team will have to complete the given tasks within a specified time limit.
  • Any team found getting help from an external source or using any unfair means to gain advantage will face on-spot disqualification; members of the Event Organizing Team will be keeping an eye on every contestant to keep the game fair.

Squid Game

Innovation Olympiad 6.0 presents the Squid Game module. Inspired by the popular Netflix series, this module features multiple rounds with unique challenges and objectives. Participants must complete tasks within the given time limit to progress. This thrilling competition will test participants’ skills, strategy, and determination.

Rules & Regulation: 

  • Participants must behave respectfully towards management and fellow participants.
  •  Misbehavior will result in disqualification. 
  • The final decision rests with the management. 
  • Rules and round descriptions will be provided at the start of each round. 
  • Participants must complete tasks within the given time limit. Participants are expected
    to follow all instructions provided by the management. 
  • Cheating or any form of academic dishonesty will result in immediate disqualification. 
  • The management reserves the right to modify rules or round formats as needed.

Murder Mystery

Murder Mystery is an interactive and thrilling game that challenges participants to use their observation and deduction skills to solve a fictional crime. Players must analyze clues, question suspects, and piece together evidence to uncover the true culprit.

Rules & Regulation: 
  • Each team must consist of 4-6 members. 
  • Teams will be given specific time slots for each round. Exceeding the allocated time will result in penalties. 
  • All evidence must be properly collected, labelled, and documented with a chain of custody form. 
  • Teams must maintain ethical standards during the investigation and press release. 
  • Creation. Fabrication of findings is strictly prohibited. 
  • The press release must be concise, and free of factual errors. 
  • Plagiarism is not allowed and will result in disqualification. 
  • Marks will be based on observation, photography, evidence handling, case analysis, and presentation quality. 
  • The judges’ decisions will be final and binding. 
  • All participants must respect the competition coordinators, judges, and fellow participants.

Scrabble

Scrabble is a classic word game that tests players’ vocabulary, strategy, and quick thinking. Participants use letter tiles to form words on the board, earning points based on word length and letter value. The player with the highest score at the end wins.

Rules & Regulation: 

  • Participation: individual 
  • Each player gets a set of 7 random tiles.
  •  In 2 minutes, they must form the highest scoring valid word they can. 
  • Players can form only one word per round within the given time limit. 
  • Top scorers (based on word points) move to Round 2. 
  • Below are the point values for each letter used in a Scrabble game:
    0 Points – Blank tile
    1 Point – A, E, I, L, N, O, R, S, T, U
    2 Points – D, G
    3 Points – B, C, M, P
    4 Points – F, H, V, W, Y
    5 Points – K
    8 Points – J, X
    10 Points – Q, Z 
  • All new words formed by a play must be valid words in an agreed-upon dictionary. 
  • If a player uses all seven of their tiles in one turn, they get a 50-point bonus after
    calculating the word score(s). 
  • Only words found in a standard English dictionary are allowed. 
  • Words that are proper nouns, abbreviations, or include hyphens or apostrophes are not
    permitted.

Spelling Bee

Spelling Bee is an engaging and competitive event that tests participants’ spelling accuracy, vocabulary, and presence of mind. Contestants must spell words correctly as they are pronounced by the host, with difficulty increasing in each round.

Rules & Regulation: 

  • Each participant must pronounce the word before spelling it and repeat the word after
    spelling. 
  • Once a participant starts spelling, they cannot restart or change letters already spoken. 
  • A bell/buzzer will indicate an incorrect spelling. 
  • The judges’ decision will be final and binding. 
  • Participants must maintain discipline and respect throughout the event. 
  • Use of mobile phones, books, or electronic devices is strictly prohibited. 
  • Each word carries one mark. No negative marking. 
  • Once spelling begins, no changes, restarts, or corrections are allowed. 
  • Each participant must begin spelling within the given time limit (usually 10–15
    seconds). 
  • If a participant finishes spelling before time runs out, they may not re-spell or alter
    their answer. 
  • case of a tie at the end of the final round, a sudden-death round will be held.
  • Failure to start spelling within the allotted time leads to disqualification for that word. 
  • The host will announce “Time’s up!” when the time limit expires

Red Light Green Light

Red Light Green Light is a fun and fast-paced game that tests players’ focus, reaction time, and control. Participants must move quickly when “green light” is called and freeze instantly when “red light” is announced. Any movement during the red light leads to elimination.
 

Rules & Regulation: 

  • Everyone must complete a given distance. 
  • When the green light turns on everyone can move. 
  • When the red light turns on everyone must stop. 
  • Who will not stop after the red light turns on, he or she will be out of the game. 
  • The decision of the management will be final.
