Sketching

A sketching competition invites participants to illustrate their creativity through pencil andink. Judging criteria include detail, shading, perspective, and overall composition
 

Rules:

• Material will be provided by university.
• Contestants are allowed to bring their own material.
• Contestants must bring their own drawing boards.
• Color sketching is not allowed.
• The artwork must be the contestant’s original hand-drawn creation.
• No tracing will be accepted.
• Maximum time allowed will be 4 hours.
• Judgment will be based upon:

o Interpretation and the clarity of the theme.
o Creativity, uniqueness, and originality of the depicted theme.
o Quality of artistic composition and overall design.
o Command of the medium used and technical skill.

Painting

A painting competition is held to showcase creativity and artistic skills. Participants use their
choice of mediums to create expressive artworks, judged on originality, technique, and
presentation.
 

Rules:

• Material will be provided by university.
• Contestants are allowed to bring their own material.
• The artwork must be the contestant’s original hand-drawn creation.
• Contestants can use mobile phone as a reference but don’t copy anyone’s Idea(negative marking of plagiarism).
• Maximum time allowed will be 4 hours.
• Paintings displaying other than given theme will not be considered.
• Judgment will be based upon:

o Interpretation, Portrayal and the clarity of the theme.
o Creativity, uniqueness, and originality of the depicted theme.
o Quality of artistic composition and overall design.
o Command of the medium used and technical skill.

Calligraphy

The calligraphy competition highlights the art of beautiful writing. Participants create intricate designs, judged on elegance, precision, and creativity in typography.

   Rules:

• Material will be provided by university.
• Contestants are allowed to bring their own material.
• Maximum time allowed will be 4 hours.

o Judgment will be based upon
o Quality of artistic composition and overall design.
o Command of the medium used and technical skill.
o Precision and Accuracy of font Style, Transcription and Symmetry of given Aayat (Any mistake in Letters or Ahraabs would not be compromised)

    Theme:

             Ayat will be provided at the day of competition.
