Sketching

To capture the essence and spirit of the given composition through skilled observation and artistic expression. Participants will be evaluated based on creativity, technique, and attention to detail. The artist who best translates imagination into a visually appealing sketch will be declared the winner.
 

Rules & Regulations:

  • Basic sketching materials will be provided; participants may bring their own preferred tools.
  • All sketches must be created during the competition; use of photographs or external references is strictly prohibited.
  • Only pencils or charcoals are allowed for sketching.
  • Each participant will have 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their sketch.
  • Participants must sketch from life — a composition of objects will be arranged on site.
  • Judging will be based on:
                  Observation and accuracy
                  Technique and skill
                  Creativity and interpretation

                  Composition and overall impact
  • Winners will receive certificates, recognition, and exciting prizes.
  • Participation is open to all interested individuals; no prior experience is required.
  • Participants must follow all instructions given by the organizers.
  • Any form of cheating, tracing, or misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification.

Painting

A painting competition is held to showcase creativity and artistic skills. Participants use their choice of mediums to create expressive artworks, judged on originality, technique, and presentation.
 

Rules & Regulations: 

  • An A3 canvas will be provided; participants may bring their own preferred materials. 
  • A reference picture related to the theme must be saved on participants’ phones; on-spot googling is not allowed.
  • Each participant will have 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their artwork. 
  • This is an individual competition. No external help or internet assistance is allowed.
  • Judging will be based on:
    Relevance to the theme
    Creativity and originality
    Color harmony and composition
    Technique and skill
  • Winners will receive recognition and exciting prizes.
  • Participants must work independently and adhere to the given time limit.
  • Any misconduct or violation of rules will lead to disqualification.
  • Participants are encouraged to interpret the theme in their own unique way, showcasing innovative and creative expressions of affordable and clean energy.

Calligraphy

 The calligraphy competition highlights the art of beautiful writing. Participants create intricate designs, judged on elegance, precision, and creativity in typography. Each stroke reflects the artist’s patience and mastery over form. The participant who best combines beauty, balance, and technique will be crowned the winner.

 Rules & Regulations: 

  • Basic materials provided; participants may bring their own tools.
  • A text/script will be given on the spot to write from.
  • Time limit: 3 hours and 30 minutes. 
  • Only on-spot work allowed; no pre-prepared pieces. 
  • Any clear and artistic calligraphy style is allowed.
  • Judging based on creativity, technique, legibility, and aesthetics. 
  • Winners will receive recognition and prizes.
  • Open to all individuals.
  • Follow all organizer instructions. Tracing, plagiarism, or copied work will lead to disqualification.
