Elevator Pitch
The Elevator Pitch Competition aims to evaluate participants’ ability to clearly and persuasively communicate a business idea, problem solution, or personal pitch within a limited time.
Rules & Regulations:
- Each participant will get 60 seconds to present their idea.
- Exceeding time will lead to point deduction.
- Time starts once the participant begins speaking.
- The pitch must be delivered verbally and live (no prerecorded content).
- Participants must:
- Clearly identify the problem, solution, and value proposition.
- Maintain clarity, confidence, engagement, and professional language.
- Offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content is strictly prohibited.
- No false claims, copied content, or misleading information.
- Teams can consist of 1–3 members.
- Each pitch will be scored on a scale from 1 to 5: Score
- 5-A Excellent — fully persuasive, well-structured, outstanding communication.
- 4-B Very Good — minor improvements needed but strong overall.
- 3-C Satisfactory — idea is clear but lacks strong persuasion or structure.
- 2-D Weak — incomplete pitch, missing key components.
- 1-F Very Poor — no clarity or preparation shown.
- Exceed time beyond the allowed grace period.
- Violate ethical rules or misconduct.
- Fail to comply with competition instructions.
- Organizers may record and photograph pitches for promotional use.
- By participating, contestants grant permission to use media content.
- Participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to the event.
- Respect judges, audience, and fellow participants.
- Maintain professionalism throughout the event.
- No negative remarks against any individual or institution.
- Rules and regulations are subject to change and any updates will be communicated in the official group.
